The largest city in the Midwestern state of Kansas, Wichita draws over four million visitors every year. Wichita Art Museum

Wichita Art Museum exhibits the rich art history of the Southern Midwest. With over 8,000 works of American art on show, this nationally recognized attraction is a site visitors won’t want to miss. Admission is free on Saturdays, and there is the option to take a tour led by an expert member of staff.

Botanica is sure to please visitors whether they have green fingers or not. The staff here are committed to educating on the promotion and development of horticulture in Wichita. As well as enjoying the lush green areas, guests can volunteer or sign up for a variety of classes and camps to learn about plant life.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Allen-Lambe House

Designed in 1915 by Frank Lloyd Wright, this historically significant structure is considered by experts to be one of Wright’s last prairie houses. Lloyd himself considered this one of his best works, and visitors often echo this same sentiment.

Mosley Street Melodrama

The shows put on by the Mosley Street crew are the best in town. Guests can dine at the buffet, order a drink or just munch on popcorn while enjoying the raunchy melodrama and musical comedy acts. Wichita Symphony Orchestra

Wichita Symphony Orchestra is an organization which actively and energetically supports the arts scene in Kansas. The ensemble participates in many events including pop concerts, musical theater productions and an eight concert classic series. A week long festival called WinterFest is held annually where the orchestra performs.

Roxy’s Downtown

The Cabaret style music and comedy shows at Roxy’s Downtown are a great choice for adults looking for a night out in Wichita. An intimate and comfortable space sure to transport guests back in time as they enjoy entertaining shows, performed by extremely talented performers.

All Star Adventurers

Wichita’s amusement park is an ideal spot for family fun. Attractions here include mini golf, adult and kiddie go-karts, an arcade, batting cages and many classic rides such as bumper cars and the carousel. The snack bar here will keep guests full and ready to play, all day long.

Old Cowtown Museum

For history buffs or families looking for a memorable way to spend a day in the city, Wichita’s old Cowtown is an excellent choice. Visitors will learn about the transformation of Wichita over the years, a town which went from a small frontier settlement to a manufacturing center.
