How interesting that the Maunsell forts are in plain view for you. They do look like something out of a sci-fi novel that’s for sure! It would be cool to see them in the real.

I certainly never expected to find a mention of the Maunsell forts on this site. I can see them from the end of my road and they are really dramatic up close. I thought Michele’s use of dystopian novels as a continuing theme to return to for inspiration was really interesting.
